We ARE at MotoGP - it's local to us  ::)  :D

We debated about tickets but had it rained: and we can get the atmosphere over the weekend and watch in Comfort from the sofa  ;)

Campsites are filling up already  ::)

The thing is you'll get a better view from the TV!

Several years ago we set off from Chester to watch the F1 at Brands Hatch, yes quite a few years ago.
We arrived at about 5.30 in the morning, pootled about, were driven around the track, had fresh doughnuts etc.
All went well till F1 cars started, they were SO loud, felt sick, couldn't hear Concorde or Red Arrows flying overhead.   :o
We ended up driving back to Chester and watching on TV   ::)

My hubby loves F1. He has in the past travelled all over the world to watch.
For him the noise is the very best part. There is no accounting for taste.

I would be running in the other direction  ::)

Away on my hols tomorrow. Yippee! Though have had to juggle luggage as plane we are going on only allows very small hand luggage. Thankfully I still had old small ones which are within limits.  Thought I was going to have to buy new hand luggage. Phew!  Be good while I'm away.  ::) ;D

Have a great time CG!  We just bought new cases to Ryanair specification only to hear that another budget airline has reduced the size of hand baggage even further. No doubt Mr O'Leary will do the same so our cases will be no good  >:(  We only take hand luggage so it will be a struggle to fit 2 weeks wotth of kit into even smaller cases.

We are off on Tuesday - to Spain again with friends this time.

You GO ! enjoy as much as you are able to!

Hubby does archery so we use the camper for day competitions.
MotoGP is motor bike racing, Valentino Rossi and Cal Cructchlow - both doing well  :-*  :-*
We may have a wander over to the Cirtcuit tomorrow anxiety allowing  :-X
We spent a few weeks looking at the Celebration VW T5 but DH could not reach the handbrake as the seats were too high, maybe the leisure battery and swinging platform to mvoe the seat was underneath.  So no way would I have been able to drive it.  Also they are panel vans without Air con.; the Hyundai is a people carrier with Air con.  ;)

I did - it was lovely weather and really relaxed, I felt I'd been away for weeks rather than 48 hours.  Now getting worked up about the next trip  :-X

Weather was brilliant whole week - mid 20's most of the time. Lots of walking, just as well as we ate lots of fab food. Best meal though was at Mark Jordan's place. Very expensive, but wow amazing food. Hubby was a little under-dressed though as it turns out their smart casual wasn't Hubby's idea of smart casual.
