I like Pink - she is a very clever lady. Not sure about the song though - bit too schmultzy for me I'm afraid but the sentiment is good. The second track is not my thing though I did listen to it all the way through.
This is one I play to cheer me up - they are a mates of mine and are totally insane! Their exuberance never fails to lift my spirits

Ah - to be young!

I listen to Baker Street by Gerry Rafferty most days. It reminds me of when we moved to Inverness, somewhere we loved. Hubby used to live near his Granny too.

Thanks Eddie
It's all to do with following my son around the place - well that makes me sound like a hanger-on - I mean that I have visited places I would never have gone into and met people I never would have done without going to his gigs. It never ceases to amaze me how many young people there are who are very pleasant, hardworking and downright lovely when all you hear about are the bad ones.
This one Joyce?

I have been having a trawl through my favourites and my spottify stuff (which I can't really use properly yet!) and have found this track. Again, it is someone that I know and the video is shot on a little camera from the audience. It is dark but the words are very moving. If you have someone who you have lost or you are losing to dementia then you might like to save it to listen to at some point.

Yeah Taz good choice, we like this kind of thing.
I like this one, my brothers old tribute band did this excellently.

Ok not necessarily favourite track of the day but heard Leo Sayer "When I Need YOu". Reminded me of when my hubby bought the song for Valentine's Day. I blubbed like a baby!

Luther Vandross Dance with my Father.................. (if only i could) is one of my favorite songs. Celon Dion also does a brilliant version of this song.
Makes me cry every time i hear it.
I also like MAMA by Boys to Men, my son told me to listen to it, he said it was his song to me. This also makes me cry.
Sandie.
