She can promise .......... what we found with Dad I may have said already: the girls arrived with mobiles glued to their ears because the owner of the company was harassing them to 'get on'.  Me I would have told them to leave the phones in the car!!! but Mum wouldn't.   Part of her narcissism! They also cut Dad's time short, had I been there it would have been the full hour.  The companies seemed to be short of carers, plus they didn't take into account possible hold ups on the road!

Was your Mum distressed at all?  What isn't often realised is that medication needs to be handed out when required!!! and quite honestly, they are not covered to do so.  When I think of the cover that Surgery staff have ....... and that's simply handing over a packet.

Me: watching men in Lycra leaving Monacco to Nice on the Time Trial.   8)

I wouldn't say distressed, CLKD, but I think it was just the realisation that she needs help to wash/dress nowadays  :-\
I've been enjoying the golf actually. At Royal Troon - a very challenging course apparently (not to mention the dreadful weather!) ☔️

It certainly is, Jaypo - disgraceful!
Honestly, I can almost feel the rolling of the eyes at the other end of the phone when I contact the "care team" to highlight issue after issue! Fact is, I don't care - I'll continue to advocate for my lovely mammy!
I know I share a lot of this stuff ladies but it doesn't half help to vent a bit - hope you don't mind  ;D
:foryou: ladies for listening to a post menopausal rant  ;D

We don't mind because we've been there or mayB approaching similar.  I hope that you are charting these issues ........ time to let your Mum's GP Surgery know, the Staff at the Hospital about the lack of 'care' in the Plan ....... and the Secretary for State for Health ;-).

Shed a few tears as le Tour has finished in bright ☀️ in Nice with Cav receiving a special award .....  what will we do next week  :o

Otherwise: same old.  Same old.  Sitting down now to watch the 100 .......

Hi Girls in and out of my bath and in bed right now after a day catching up with a friend/dog whilst watching wildlife: dragonflies, osprey x 2; little egret, cattle egret; oyster catches, geese, sheep ........ then I had a deep sleep for 2 hours, woken by rain through the open camper window

Met with friends this evening, home now.

Great surprise jaypo  8)
