Oestradiol levels help!?
« on: July 24, 2024, 02:53:58 PM »

Hi all I need help please, I’ve had my Oestradiol checked and it’s 388 which is supposedly normal range but I feel absolutely terrible! Waking early feeling like I haven’t slept, morning anxiety sometimes lasts all day and chronic fatigue! I’ve had vits and thyroid checked, all normal too! Now I’m paranoid something else is seriously wrong with me - I had mirena out 3 months ago and been on Utrogestan since and have steadily gone downhill! I had almost a three week break off Utrogestan but I didn’t feel better so started taking again! Any advise on this would be greatly appreciated thank you 🙏

If you were doing ok with the mirena would you consider getting a new one?  Utrogestan doesn't suit everyone.

Your estradiol is similar to mine, however some people do need higher levels to feel their best, and you do have scope to increase and still be under the ~800pmol/L level that expert clinicians are generally comfortable going up to, especially if you plan to replace the mirena for endometrial protection.

Alternatively your symptoms may be due to a lack of testosterone if you aren't replacing that.

I am on Zoely OCP continuously and take dhea for androgen replacement.

Hiya, thank you! I started testogel 5 months ago, I’m hoping it’s just taking its time to work! I’m on estraderm 100 patch and the dr won’t go above that!
