what should try next?
« on: Today at 07:03:07 AM »

So briefly i was on evorel sequi for 7 weeks , i was low mood before starting it , few months out of cancer treatment hence the menopause.
I have been on a roller coaster of anxiety and depression, morning panic attacks, unable to get to work.
So I have ordered a blood test and might see a private specialist.
Have taken the patch off and so feel the most positive i have in weeks, though i still have a slight anxiety.
So I am wondering what to try next as I think the evorel makes me depressed even on the evorel 50
Thanks

No not really, I was considering anti depressants because of struggles getting to work but I feel positive for the first time in weeks , I am not sure if trying a different patch or trying the gel , I am still sweating quite a bit , and not 100 percent , the conti patch made me feel drugged in the morning and very low , but i was not good on the first two weeks either, very depressed.
side effects say one in ten get depressive symptoms.

Which is worse for you, anxiety or depression?  Some ADs do ease anxiety symptoms.  When do U feel worse, for me it's morning until early evening.  Once my commitments are done, I begin to relax.

I think the depression has lifted since i came off the hrt , i am managing the anxiety, it’s worse morning though, but I am feeling hot in the night since i took off the patch x

How bothersome are the heat waves?   If they wake you can you drop back to sleep?

After my periods stopped I had flushing and intense itching down my back after my bath.  This didn't last more than 3 months.  I was taking ADs which might have made a difference  ???  :-\ ...... Also the insteps when I took off my socks to get into the bath itched, furiously and I would wake with one ruff heel scratching the other.   ::)

MayB if you can tolerate the hot sessions see whether it goes on its own?  Also, do consider eating little and often which can ease anxiety surges, have a supper?
