Patch to gel
« on: June 26, 2024, 06:27:55 AM »

Swooped to gel (4pumps) from patch (100mg Everol) 1 week ago.  Am now getting dry scalp, sore skin under chin, fingertips etc eyes sore.

Will this settle down?

Anyone else experienced this? Should I just get on and swop back?

Disappointing:(

Thank you

It’s only been a week, you need to give yourself at least 4 weeks. There might be other things at play too such as the hot weather perhaps?

No it's the same symptoms as when I changed to femoston a few years ago.  Don't get this on the patch in hot weather.  Maybe should give another week to get into system?

Thank you

It might not be the gel causing this. You can’t always attribute all conditions to menopause or HRT.

A week is nothing. As Uma mentioned, all new HRT regimes need to be trialled for at least a few weeks minimum.
