Merrygoround you say youve stopped the utrogestan are you off hrt now
I gave up on progestins, it's not worth the torture.
Since December I take tibolone 2.5mg daily.
I'd taken it before, very successfully, then the medics switched me to combined HRT and it took months to get my tibolone prescription back again.
Tibolone (Livial) is a very good type of HRT, better for anyone with intolerance to progestins as that is it's specific purpose, but I'd recommend it to anyone even without intolerances.
I've no bad side effects with tibolone and I keep the good things about menopause as well, like my hair is fantastically thick and never looks limp or greasy any more.
Even my hairdresser commented how thick it is now.
I often had migraines, mood swings and pains with my periods, that stays gone with tibolone while HRT brought all that back again.
I can easily say I prefer being post menopausal and taking tibolone compared to being young and having natural progesterone bombing my body every month.
