I'm perimenopausal and was on Femoston tablets for about a year and almost all my symptoms were resolved. Brain fog only improved a bit though. But I found I was lacking energy and motivation more as time went on, so decided to try switching to the patch and Utrogestan. I read that oral HRT increases your SHBG which binds testosterone, so I thought it could be that.

Been on the patch for about 6 weeks now. But within a few days my early wakings started to come back, a little anxiety has crept back in, and aches and pains are returning too. Could this just be an adaptation period? Is that a thing when you switch? Or is the patch probably not going to work as well as the Femoston for me?

The utrogestan isn't the problem because I feel the same during the Utrogestan days as the rest of the time.

I was on Femoston 2/10 and now on a 100mcg patch so I think that should be basically the same dosage.
