Maybe try a more gentle option first, like a probiotic yoghurt ( assuming you are OK with dairy). They tend to have lower numbers of good bacteria in them than kefir or probiotic tablets and see how you get on. Yeo Valley Organic Natural Bio Live is a good one with nothing unhealthy in it. If you get any side effects, like bloating or gas, they will only be very temporary.

Hi all,
I have been taking Optibac Every day and Optibac Saccharomyces boulardii, hoping it would help my unusual bowel movement.  Used to empty my bowel only in the mornings.  But last month and this month it has been twice in the mornings, on and off. Not every day. Normal than soft, like Diarrhoea type or small pieces. Is this related to Peri? My  period was light, spotting early this month, than came back 2 weeks later this week. Anyone experienced this problem? Should I go to another forum?
Thanks.
