Nobody should be driven to feeling so distressed waiting for results and especially when nothing was wrong. It's because on first examination they priorise those that have urgent features, and when i rang the histology lab last year after waiting 4 months, they told me they were having to outsource biopsies to another lab due to staff shortages, but it's still unacceptable to cause so much worry. I've now been waiting 4 months again for my repeat stomach biopsies. I bet that waiting has taken its toll on you. It's draining. I hope you're feeling much better though now.

Jules I totally agree with you about waiting and waiting all the time.

It has most definitely been draining physically and emotionally but hopefully things will get better now I'm starting to relax a bit  ...I hope it never happens again 🤞. Even now I'm still not fully relaxed until my letter comes through the post even though they've told me the results. I think it will take a while to get over 4 months of hell.
I've learned never to listen to inexperienced GP's who have very little gynae experience.

I'm looking forward to grandson duties now x

I've got a scan date in 3 weeks time but I'm not waiting till then to restart my vagifem.  I've had no more bleeding,  just once. I'm just hoping that scan doesn't lead to something else.

It says so on the letter. The last two I've had though didn't result in that as my lining was thin and she decided it wasn't necessary
