Patches and depression
« on: February 18, 2024, 05:19:05 PM »

Hi there. I’ve just started Evorel Sequi and I’m on the second week (about to put the 4th oestrogen patch on). I’ve been feeling overwhelmingly depressed since starting it which is not like me. I do take sertraline for more of stress related issues but I’ve never felt like this before. Is this normal? Has anyone else had this? Thanks for reading.

How awful.   :welcomemm:

MayB put the product name/s into the search box: individually: to read any associated threads.  Make notes ;-).

Some find that keeping a mood/food/symptom diary of use too.

Did U manage a search or will I need to bump a few threads?  Depression is awful, I suffered through the 1990s, nowt to do with HRT.

Morning. Which part of the regime are you at, symptoms may be cyclical.  How did the depression affect you over all?

Your own hormones may join in too which may mean that you might have to tweak the regime a little.

Let us know how you get on.
