Can anybody give me recommendations for a good vaginal moisturiser. I need to use one in absence of using estrogen just for a short time. I know some don't like replens, I've never had a problem with it but it's so messy, all over this morning.  I saw Yes but really expensive to buy enough of the little inserts.

If U read the VA threads there is lots of advice ......... replens is to avoid.

Hi Jules,

I use YES with a fair success, but I get mine on prescription. Don't know if that's an option for you?

Also, my own gp recommended using coconut oil. I got some organic stuff from health food shop a bit jar of organic stuff for about £5. It' is solid at room temperature but then the warmth of fingers make it softer to apply. I use this externally rather than internally though. May be worth trying? Others may know if it is ok internally. It feels very kind and no reactions at all. I use it last  thing at night so more time to work.

Found YES is good and on prescription
Make sure you get the pre filled tubes not the great big one which isn’t going to go up there 😉

Ok thanks. I use coconut oil externally but as yet there's no research into its safety internally. I will ask for Yes on prescription.  There will probably be a big inquest into it though tge way things are at my doctor currently

I used to get the 5ml individual YES applicators on prescription but was refused about a year ago as too expensive and told I can buy them OTC or online. I can still get the 75ml tube on script as it's cheaper, I'm not sure if this came with an applicator though. I've stopped using this now as it started to irritate, nothing wrong with the product it's just me, my body just becomes sensitive to some things I use after a while. Frustrating!

Mine is on prescription there was no issues with prescribing it

I use Boots own brand vaginal moisturising gel. It's £10.99 (or 9.99 with advantage card) for 30g.   I've always been happy with it.

Thanks Suzy. I will have a look. I used Replens last night and I dont think it has helped
