So, after trying for over 18mths I finally secured a prescription for testosterone, hoping this would be the missing link for me, resurrecting my libido and appetite for life.
I had been doing well with oestrogel (2 pumps per day) and daily utrogestan (200 dose) so was excited to start testosterone a few weeks ago.
Well... After using the testogel for about 2 weeks I had a slight bleed, lasting just a couple of days at most. I was a bit freaked out and stopped all HRT for about 4 days. I've been bleed free for the last week and started the 3 HRT again about 3 days ago.
I just started bleeding again and am frustrated.
I last had a bleed about 14 months ago, changed HRT from Tibolone to current regime and got checked out by gynae (given all clear to resume HRT). As I said I thought all was good until the bleed last week.
I'll probably speak to my GP now that it's happened again but wondered if anyone else has experienced this just after starting testosterone?
I had also just started using one of the new design pumps of oestrogel - maybe this isn't a coincidence?
The only other link I can find is that I have been fighting a dose of the flu fir the last couple of weeks. I was also sick when I had my last bleed last year.
