When does this end?
« on: December 09, 2023, 07:41:21 AM »

Good Morning Everyone,

Please could you all talk to me about brain fog and doing crazy things.

I  have been using Sequi patches for about 3 years and things have improved but of late I am so upset about:

Joint pain, wrists, elbows, hips, knees. Some days I hobble like an old woman.

Itchy itchy ITCHY again.

And brain fog. I feel like I am not in my own head. Dizzy at times, can't remember what I was about to do. Two days ago I ran a bath and hadn't put the plug in!

I am awake at 4am daily, I am utterly exhausted.

I struggle to multi-task like I used to be able to. I am so done with feeling this way.

The anxiety it provokes is off the scale with thoughts of dementia running riot.

I have been trying to help myself, no caffeine, no alcohol, going to the gym twice a week.

I just want to feel present!

Would welcome some thoughts...

Thank you

It sounds like you need more oestrogen so you could move to an oestrogen only patch or gel with a separate progesterone ( Utrogestan ).

"When does this end?".....the million dollar question no one can answer.

I feel your pain.

I can only offer a supportive hug. Xxxxx

Morning.  It's probably a drop in oestrogen levels.  U could try adding a gel to the current regime.

A lack of oestrogen may make the body dry: inside and out; skin, vagina, deep in the ears, nostrils, eyes ...... as well as causing laxity of muscles = aches and pains.  I find that making lists helps get through the essentials each day.

Unlikely to be dementia, more like the upheaval of hormonal changes.
