Hi everyone. I am 64 and ignored HRT for many years as I had the mirena coil and didn’t want to take it. Fast forward a few years and I have had various patches then some tablets which I had to stop about 2 years ago due to having some bleeding. Doctor put me on Utrogestan 100 caps which didn’t do much for me.
Four months ago I had an online consultation where the specialist pointed out that I should be using something in conjunction with the tablets! I have been using Fem Seven Conti patches for just over 3 months. I have persevered despite chronic breast pain and period like pains to see if it would settle. I am now having bleeding and ‘period’pains. The surgery have said I can get a doctors appointment in the new year or phone for an emergency which i am loath to do. Should I wait or panic?
