as oestrogen levels drop muscles may become lax = aches and pains as well as the body may become dry: inside and out; deep in the ears, eyes, skin, vagina; scalp, between the toes ..... oestrogen is the elasticity of the body.
Some find that keeping a mood/food/symptom diary of use to chart progress. Which symptom would you like to ease first?

What do U think? If U need a 2nd opinion then ask your GP for a referral to a dedicated menopause clinic for which there are waiting lists.

Many of them are meno symptoms. Are you concerned about taking hrt? The newer transdermal hrt is very much safer than the old ones. The ovaries continue to produce 'some' oestrogen for a while post meno which declines with time. The adrenals and fat cells also make a small amount. I agree with the gynae, it's perfectly possible that oestrogen will ease your symptoms. If you're not on treatment for va I'd strongly recommend you get some, it will only get worse without it.

Your post reminded me of myself. I would try some. Are you taking local hrt for atrophy because you MUST, it will get worse. I take local nothing else but I feel I should cos you sound like me similar age
