Finding a balance while being progesterone Intolerant
« on: November 23, 2023, 11:07:25 AM »

So here I am just about exhausted all attempts to try snd find some regime that works.  5 years on various hrt regimes.  I've tried utrogestan both orally and vaginally and gave cyclogest a go.  Way too messy.  I'm no facing the choice of having the coil fitted, which I must say fills me with dread.  To add to the mix my gp is convinced that my symptoms are not menopausal but related to mood and has put me on veifaxine so I'm just starting out on that too.  Was on sertraline for a long time originally prescribed in my 40 to help with PMT.  I'm due to ser my menopause specialist next week and must say I'm dreading it.  I seem to be running out of options.  Do any ladies have similar experiences and is there light at the end of this tunnel

I had to move from Utrogestan to a Mirena for other reasons and found the Mirena was fine, much better than I'd expected.
