Hi,

I was on cyclic (14 days on, 14 days off) progesterone, but my dr changed me to continous back last Feb.  I was getting occasional bleeding (sometimes heavy) and now I'm getting a lot of spotting, so on 1st Nov I'm going to change back to cyclic.   It seems to me that by body isn't ready for continous.   Do you agree?  thanks - need a bit of reassurance I think!   Also, if I'm on 4 pumps oestragel, is it x3 progesterones nightly?  Am i remembering that right?!  Thanks!  Sarah.

As above, the usual dose is 2x100mg. Have you had a scan? It would be good to rule out other causes of bleeding.
