Light lunch to hand followed by sorting yet more laundry then driving to collect the camper van after it's service.

Sometimes I watch: Bargain Hunt; Escape to the Country; followed by what ever takes our fancy including tipping point.

Lovely you have a camper van. Do you go off on adventures?

I love property programmes.

I began a 'look what we have bought' thread I think it's called.  We were 8 years choosing  ::).  We don't overnight anymore, it's great for day trips.

We love it.  It was 1 of the VIP people carrier vehicles at the 2012 Olympics - they all went into storage for different companies to buy them, Wellhouse in Yorkshire did 5 conversions.  Ours was the 1st off the line ;-).  Bought locally we viewed it in the morning so the family going to look were put off.

3 years later we met them by chance, miles away from here.  They were wandering along and asked to have a look, mentioning the above: that they were due to see it.  I don't think that it would have been suitable for 2 adults, a growing child and a small dog.  They agreed.

Talk about co-incidence!

We were all amazed.  I kind of knew as they walked towards us ........ due to my reluctance to a) use showers and loos where others may be listening and b) not wanting to wander to those facilities in the dark ..... we no longer camp .  When we do Hotels we drive the camper which is useful if we find a beach with a long walk as there is a 'porta-potty'.  And a kettle.  And spare clothes if we should get wet ......

update

So, right ear definitely less agony pain but still definitely not right. Low level constant pain, muffled blocked feeling.....

Nurse came to house today. Said ear drum red and inflamed and suspected middle ear infection and possible eustation tube disfunction (just been treated for outer ear otitis externa)

Loathed to have ABX so he said to see how it goes...if it improves or if no better in couple weeks he will refer me to ENT.... ::) (how did I know that's where I'd end up being sent?!) .....

The goose chase continues...all perimenopause  obvs!! But try telling them that.  :bang:

Anyway. As you were.

There are times when leaving the house is necessary. As long as it only once in a while I have to just cope. Bundled in car and wheelchair to get about the hospital....then spend a month recovering from the exertion!

I'm Loathed to keep using drops. Nurse said I could but thinks it wouldn't do much more than it has. I'm doing saline rinse etc.

Just see how it goes.
