Please can someone tell me this unbearable pressure and pain in my ears will ebate....even a bit?

Never felt anything like it...its like my eardrums will explode. Tinitus going absolutely bonkers. Alsorts of different tones.

Even did a covid test. Neg.

Never experienced this. Every minute is torture.

Been checked. All 'normal'. Done all I can. Not ringing gp again. I've been checked a thousand times.

Surely one of you must have ear issues?  :'(

Sorry. I'm just struggling

Contact the tinnitus support group?

I've been trying to redescribed 'constant' - I think that the brain tends to focus on tinnitus, blocked ear feelings, the possibility of a lump in the throat ..........  tinnitus can be relived by listening to music, bird song, water running ....... to over rule the background nuisance.

Have U any relaxation tapes?

Mine are not as bad as yours but my right ear always hurts, mild pressure in both, worse in the right and pain from right ear, down my neck into my shoulder.  Some days worse than others, it's horrible. Doctors no help, otomize drops made it worse 3 years ago.

Thank you Suzy appreciate it xxx

I'm sorry you have pain in ear too. It's the pits. I think I'd rather have the anxiety or any other symptom over ear pain/pressure etc.

Have you suffered any sudden hearing loss as well? I have had symptoms very similar to yours which were part of  a sudden sensory neural hearing loss.

I haven't had a hearing test (I will get one when I can. I'm not well with M.E)  but I can tell that my hearing is not as it used to be particularly in my right ear. Ear feels plugged and full all the time so I feel there is slight hearing loss. (It's not actually plugged physically as had it checked. It just feels like it is which apparently is common for us in perimenopause/menopause)

Hearing is also now extremely sensitive and noises that once wouldn't bother me eg. hairdryer, TV, bangs things dropping, some people's voices, shops, music... just can't cope with...makes my ears hurt. I need it quiet........so I can enjoy my tinitus  ;D

Hearing loss is definitely a menopause thing. Lots of ear issues actually are. Who knew.

Thanks for your post xx
