Utrogestan tablets
« on: October 12, 2023, 03:19:06 PM »

Hi, I’ve just switched from Evorel Sequi patches, which after about 1 week on the progesterone patch, I had a 2-3 day bleed.  Like a near normal period. I now have estrogel and Utrogestan tablets.  I’m just onto my last two days of tablets and can describe my bleed as a few spots.  Is this normal???? Does anyone know???

Thanking you in advance

Hi Beverly, welcome to the forum  :-*. I think it's normal when you switch HRT, it takes time to settle to a new regimen. Are you taking Utrogestan by mouth or vagina? How many pumps of Oestrogel?

If you're peri it might be from your own hormones, my cycle was always stronger than the hrt one.

Hi Beverley Firth

 :welcomemm:

You may also find you get more of a bleed after you stop the utrogestan.
