Im post meno and ive been feeling fine.

I had my estrogen bloods done in july and they were 488 just had them done last week and theyre now 1086.

any ideas anyone?

I think this is completely normal. Oestrogen remains volatile for years, it certainly does not immediately bottom out for many women and when periods stop  the volatility can, in fact, get worse.

Hot flushes and clear mood changes at certain times of the month are a sign of this. At least when we had periods it was more easy to see the patterns!

Hi discogirl.  Was it a finger blood test ( taken from the finger tip ) or blood taken from a vein ?

no from a vein at my gps as i know finger **** tests are unreliable. i got it done before id applied my gel as well x

Hi in that case I would speak to your GP about it as that is a high reading.  If you are feeling ok then there's usually no need to have blood tests. x

yes he's back on tuesday and ive been feeling fine.

i have put about 3 stone on and as post meno we get a lot of our estrogen from fat cells i think that has been contributing to my estrogen as well xxx
