Testogel
« on: November 30, 2023, 05:52:06 PM »

Hi, has anyone experienced side effects from testogel?  I got mine on Monday and applied immedietly, following day I couldn't stop peeing!  When I wasn't on the loo I was thinking I need the loo, even when I didn't!  I applied it again Tuesday and was even worse on Wednesday  :-\ I've stopped it for now as I want to get myself more balanced on my HRT and not Mess it up.  The most worrying thing for me is Monday & Tuesday  nights sleep wasn't great, then last night I didn't sleep a wink!  I only started HRT to help with sleep and it was working really well.  I'm really hoping someone will tell me it is the testosterone and not symptoms returning  :'(

Hi!  Several members use testosterone .  Hopefully they will be along with advice.  In the meantime put 'testogel' into the search box to read threads that pop up.

How was your urine output during your menstruating years?  I found that I peed a lot in the 12 hours prior to a bleed.  So certainly testosterone will probably be the culprit.  What else are you using?

I would stop the testogel until you're certain things have stabilised then maybe try again using a smaller amount. I haven't heard of this being a symptom but you may be unique  ;). Do you have symptoms of low testosterone?

Thanks all.  I had a blood test and testosterone was low.  I wanted to add it to see if I get the extra benefits of energy and libido.  I also have some histamine issues going on and read that it is a mast cell stabiliser.  I have stopped for now  :-\
