Estradot and utrogestan orally, bleeding
« on: September 20, 2023, 01:47:34 PM »

Been on Estradot and utrogestan tabs for about 4 months and just started bleeding, have read bleeding can be side affect of utrogestan.   Also have fibroid which doctor noticed last year when I had a scan and biopsy…. anyone else have same?

Am post meno, and been bleeding regularly since starting HRT again a year ago. First Evorel Conti, then Evorel 50 with Utrogestan. Have just had ultrasound and TV scans, and looks like there’s a polyp, so been referred to gynae. Had a polyp removed 7 years ago. The bleeding is an inconvenience, but the other benefits of HRT far outweigh the inconvenience.

I reckon the next thing for me if all goes OK with gynae and posspolypectomy, is try Mirena.
