Morning Gillian, welcome,

I couldnt get on with the extreme ups and downs on utrogestan, some say they battle the storm and it works well for them. I had  the mirena coil fitted last October, and find the constant stability of progesterone is better for me. It seems to give me a more even dose of progesterone.

I am on a very low dose AD as well, and upped my patches, and my moods are far better than they were a few months ago. Anxiety and depression seem very common in peri and meno changes. It can take a while to find the best regime for each individual.

Hope.others can give you their thoughts and experiences

Wish you well
