Testogel Experiences please
« on: September 09, 2023, 03:09:50 PM »

Over a year ago I made a request through a London NHS Menopause Clinic that I try Testogel due to low libido.  My blood tests were taken and I was a little on the low side, but was told I that they didn't think I needed that.  I am still in the same position, and rarely interact with my husband due to this.  I am on estradot and cyclogest, but always had far more vavoom than I do since taking HRT.

Does anyone have positive experiences of taking testogel, and do I need to go privately to at least be given the opportunity to try this, or do I need to promt the NHs again?

Watching with interest I have an NHS appointment in October to ask for them same thing. I’ve been waiting 8 months for this appointment- I’m not holding out much hope to be honest of the NHS actually agreeing to me having it but I have to try.

I went private for Testogel and had a testosterone only appointment via Newsons Health.
It has been fantastic for me. Increased libido within a couple of weeks but more importantly for me my energy levels and brain fog improved massively.
Newson's liaise with your GP so I'm having my testosterone blood test at my GP instead of paying Newson for it and if all is well I should be able to have Testogel prescribed through my GP going forward. If they are obstructive for any reason I'll go back to Newson again. I'm not giving up my Testogel for anyone!

Good luck!
