70 year old mom and Vitex

Can Vitex be used by someone in their 70's? I heard low doses can raise estrogen and high doses can obviously raise Progesterone.  But can it be used to create a balance for post menopause?  My mother is more herbal oriented so not sure what can help for general health. thanks.

No idea - what is the product and is there a list of ingredients.  Alternatives should not be taken long term.

Which symptom would your mum like to ease first?

Nope.  It's well known that most alternatives, i.e. Black Cohosh, shouldn't be used a) with prescription medications and b) for more than 3 months B4 having a break.
