Postmenopausal need advice
« on: September 05, 2023, 12:02:15 PM »

I am 23 years past my menopause and am worried. I was in a relationship 3-4 months ago. My body has signs of pregnancy and it's freaking me out. I've been researching and everything says my eggs aren't  viable if there are any left.  Articles say that we can't  get pg after meno. I've  also had my tubes tied years ago. I'm  scared to get an exam. I was just  diagnosed with breast cancer for the second time. Has anyone else experienced pg symptoms  in post meno?

...and breath.   If you haven't had a bleed for 23 years then it is unlikely that you are pregnant.  Which particular signs are causing concern?

It mayB the breast disease causing symptoms, have U discussed this with the Consultant?  What treatment will you be offered this time?  It may also be shock if you aren't expecting a 2nd diagnosis.

Welcome to the World of Support.   U could buy a pregnancy test kit from a pharmacy or speak to the Consultant/Oncologist at the Hospital.  Let us know how you get on.
