HRT side effects
« on: August 11, 2023, 01:04:41 PM »

Hi everyone,

I’m new to this forum and finding it really helpful. :)
Has anyone else had weird abdominal tightness and/ or spasms since being on HRT combined patches? It’s a bit of a scary feeling.  :-\
I’ve been to GP  several times and had scans, bloods etc - all good, and now I’ve come off the HRT, on GP advice, to see if it stops. Only day 1 since stopping, but would love to know if anyone else has this. X

HORMONES  >:(  ::).

How were you bowels during your menstruating years?  10 mins B4 a bleed would start I would suffer 'the runs', even if a period wasn't due. It may be that your patches have activated a response.

Keeping a mood/food/symptom diary mayB of use.   :welcomemm:

Thank you for your reply!  :)

I never really had that but I do think the HRT has done something weird to my stomach! It’s the muscle pressure and spasms that are the worst part. I don’t get diarrhoea or anything. Xx
