Glad you are feeling better Karrashannon. I seem to have gone down hill again today. Still got tummy cramps and feel nauseous at times. Probably not resting enough and going for a 4 mile run yesterday evening didn’t help! I’m not a good patient!!

I felt much better yesterday afternoon and the run was fine but think I’m paying for it now. The nausea is worse on awakening- feels like morning sickness.

Once U begin to feel less sicky, look at your diet over all and how this nausea may be cyclical?

I think a lot of my symptoms are cyclical / just different crap at different times of month

I think I may have found the cause of my upset tummy. Last Friday I started a new brand of magnesium glycinate supplement. On checking the packet each tablet contains 500mg of magnesium glycinate.  I have been taking 2 before bedtime to help me sleep. But on checking various websites apparently 1000mg is too high a dose and can cause nausea, cramps and loose stools. Which is what I have had. My cramps and nausea are worse first thing in morning so maybe due to the magnesium before bed? Or maybe just a coincidence? Anyway I won’t take any more of the supplements!
Anyone had similar issue with magnesium glycinate?

Magnesium is known to cause these symptoms in higher doses I believe. I think the RDA is 400. Have you been told your magnesium is low?  It also causes facial flushing if you are taking too much. Were the instructions to take two? I'm glad you've found the probable reason.

Hi Taz , I’ve not been told my magnesium is low . Was taking to see it improved sleep. I’m confused as some articles say it is the elemental magnesium value that is important rather than the total magnesium glycinate?
My supplement is 500mg of magnesium glycinate providing 100mg of elemental magnesium.
