Fsh testing
« on: August 14, 2023, 09:24:39 AM »

Has anyone got any good knowledge on fsh tests?
My private GP wanted my FSH tested between days 1-4 of cycle.

I managed a blood test on day 2 at my NHS surgery and the result is 15.

Now my surgery have noted the result as normal and no follow up but did not take note of the day of cycle it was taken.

Have sent the result off to the private clinic, have read online that FSH above 10 on first few days of cycle suggests low ovarian reserve.

15 + considered high and may have perinmeno symptoms.

Anyone have any light they can shed?

Im feeling hopeful about this result because of my experience of being told im too young for peri etc

Thanks sarah😊

Hi if you’re under 45 then you should have two test 6 weeks apart.
