Quick query
« on: August 09, 2023, 10:52:21 AM »

I'm postmenopausal using Everol patches 75mg past 6 years. I've been using Ovestin 1mg cream nightly over the last week (prescribed as my nocturia is bad at the moment). It goes down to twice a week after 2 weeks nightly.
My breasts have become tender, no other side effects.
Should I continue, is it likely to settle or will I need to decrease my oestrogen patches?
I've not noticed any other side effects.
Thanks

It may have bounced the amount of oestrogen = sore breasts, however this should ease after about a week.  No need to drop down to twice a week if the vagina/vulva requires more treatment ;-)

I suggest that if the tenderness continues, use 'ovestin' on alternate nights.
