Anxiety may become worse during peri-menopause, thoese years leading up to the menopause = literally the last monthly period. Thought often we don't know we are there until at least 12-14 months after the last bleed. Periods may wax and wane B4 we realise that they have gone.
However: symptoms may become troublesome. Some find that keeping a mood/food/symptom diary of use to chart progress. It gives us something to discuss with medics/Nurs practitioners.
