Why would you take Black Cohosh, which symptom is it supposed to ease?  HRT isn't a quick fix.  If U mix other items you may not know which is actually working.  Alternatives shouldn't be taken for more than 3 months at a time with out a break.

It takes time for the body to uptake extra/replacement hormones, we don't get where we are suddenly unless there is surgical intervention.

Thanks CKLD for your response, also asked a pharmacist who said same thing: quite logical except that at this moment I am trying so hard to feel better.

Of course: when I was ill I wanted a cure yesterday.  But it rarely happens.

...... and breath.  This too will pass.  It may take time because now that hormones are up and down affects R more noticeable as we go into peri. Not easy though!
