I had recurring thrush some years, doctor said when it's in your bloodstream using pessaries won't be a proper cure. I got it most months just before a bleed. I was given oral fluconazole, I think 3 some days apart but can't remember exactly. If you look up persistent thrush or recurring thrush it should tell you. You can buy generic flucanozole cheaply from the Internet, usually 3 doses cost less than 1 caneston you buy from a chemist.

Interesting.  MayB because Candida thrives on sugars.   ???

Thanks Deidre - does Yes make a big difference? It’s not cheap! But relief would be priceless.
It helps on the days I'm feeling dry and burning as vagifem doesn't moisturise. You can get the YES Water base in the tube on prescription.

You learn something everyday ! i knew Yes VM was available on prescription but didn't realise that waterbase is as well.

I used to get the 5ml applicators on prescription but about a year ago when I requested it I was told I can get it OTC!
I could have the 75ml reusable tube but the presevatives in that irritated and made me sore so now I buy them from Amazon £9.99 for 6.

I think the use of a moisturiser is vital to go along with the other VA treatments, I just would not be without it.
Which moisturiser do you use Ayesha, maybe it's one I haven't tried?

I use Sylk, it's what I started with and have kept with it and not needed to try any other. It was recalled recently and not sure yet if its back on sale.

Not good to give it to you and then take it away.  They could of phased that in with new patients if necessary.
