Menopause
« on: June 20, 2023, 03:19:36 PM »

Did anybody else feel really rough eight weeks into taking HRT? I generally feel so unwell. Low mood, my backache, my legs ache and keep going really hot and replies will be grateful.

Have a  :bighug:.  I can't help.  MayB put the product names into the search box individually to see any threads that pop up?  Make notes ;-).

So sorry you are feeling so bad. Is it possible you have a bug and this is not HRT? Your symptoms sound like flu too.

Maybe you could stop the HRT just to see if it is that? If you start to feel better quickly then you will know. This is just my opinion though.

I’m sorry you’re feeling like this too…are you able to say what HRT you are on? You could ask for a change as you should feel better, not worse.

So update been to the doctors, don’t think it’s my HRT I have low blood pressure which is causing me to go dizzy and hot I have been on blood pressure medication for about 1 and half years so might be able to come down. a dose. She said she want to get this sorted first, because it’s more likely my blood low blood pressure. I mentioned to her when I get out of bed this morning, that I whet really lightheaded and my heart rate went up to 132 I then said is that why my heart went high because my blood pressure was low and my heart went up high she said yes as your heart has to work harder to get your blood pressure up so for the time being I am to carry on with hrt until we sort this out and go from there

That's a start.  DH has a home BP monitor which he uses at the same time each morning.
