Evorel conti
« on: June 13, 2023, 11:48:02 AM »

Hi all, does anyone know the strengths of Evorel conti? I've been on 50s for a while but feeling low & tearful woth anxiety some days. Just been to GP who offered anti-depressant but I've declined as worried about feeling more tired on them. She was unsure on patch strengths but has told me I can try Evorel conti in 75 strength. I can't find anything which says conti comes in 75. Anyone had similar experience?

I thought Evorel Conti is just in the one strength. Perhaps the GP is getting mixed up with Evorel which is oestrogen alone. Is it possible to put on one and a half patch? If not then perhaps it may be worth taking the progesterone and oestrogen separately so it can be adjusted when needed.

This link will give you a list of all the HRT preperations.

Evorel conti as far as I remember is only 1 strength which is 50.

Evorel only comes in different strengths.

Evorel conti has norethisterone as the progesterone and in some women (me included) this causes low mood, depression and anxiety. Maybe it could be this causing your feelings rather than the strength of the patch?
