Any alternatives to topical oestrogen for VA?
« on: May 21, 2023, 03:55:49 PM »

Hi

I react badly to topical oestrogen - itching, irritation and flu-like symptoms. Has anyone found an alternative for VA and dryness?

It's like a desert down there and quite sore as a result. Intercourse is painful, and libido is non-existent, so there's no lubrication, let alone anything naturally occurring.

It's becoming a real problem now.

Thanks

Which products have you tried?  Initially treatment may sting until the skin plumps up.  If U have those reactions it mayB the fillers rather than the active ingredient.

Yes or Sylc moistorisors might be worth trying, of KY Jelly - I use that when necessary as well as ovestin regularly.

When my bladder symptoms niggle I get the 'flu-like shivers as the urine flow shuts off, I go all goosey  :o
