Migraine success stories, anyone?
« on: May 08, 2023, 10:09:50 AM »

Are there any people out there who are prone to migraines- and have had migraines on HRT - who have found an HRT regime that works for them, with no migraines?

Also any success stories on Mirena coil? Or is it generally deemed a bad idea if you’re a migraine sufferer?

Hi Katie
I started getting classical migraine (with aura) as a teenager. For me it gradually got less frequent the older I became. I would say I now get one every 3 or 4 months or so - not hugely debilitating. I think the thing to add is that my HRT regime has definitely not made it worse (for which I'm relieved!)..
I'm postmenopause and am on evorel 50 patches and utrogestan or provera (as the progesterone part). No issues whatsoever..
