Of course.  Let us know how you get on and where you might be going on holiday ;-) 4 which we have a thread  :D
Yes I know there is a separate thread. I have only part booked a couple of days in York but might do another short one in June once I have the all clear.

I last saw it properly in 1980. I was there again in 1991 but only at a 2/3 day work conference so limited free time to do anything.

Long story short: School Trip.  Up to the top, however, half way up there was scaffolding which lead onto the roof - some1 suggested not looking down so guess what  :o.  I don't know to this day how my friend encouraged me down  :o :o ........ some kind of renovation work I suppose.

So, you were meant to go up via the scaffolding or you decided to climb out there for fun? Sorry, still confused  ;D

There was a diversion  ;D - there must have been a door blocked due to alterations ......... I can't remember why but I can feel the turning over of my guts as I stepped out  ;D

No H&S in those days.  There were probably guides  ::) it was my first attack of vertigo.  Which happened again on a hillside in Wales years later, the kids thought it hilarious  >:( ::)

I believe that some Health Authorities are sending out bowel screening a 'little earlier' than NICE suggests, as more younger people are being affected by issues which may go undetected.

Let us know how you get on.
Fortunately I got the all clear letter this morning so can think about booking holidays again!   :)

:thankyou:  4 your update!  Now you really can move forwards and get reading the travel sections of the weekend paper: if I were a traveller the article about the Amalfi Coast and I would be booking tickets.

Or the 6 months no-fly cruise ........ away over C.mas and New Year, what's not to like  ;D
