Estrogel / inconsistent dosage
« on: May 02, 2023, 09:01:43 AM »

Hello All,

I've been using Estrogel for a couple of years now with positive results. However, I've recently started a new canister and it's as though it's not working (all symptoms are suddenly back). It's not expired (10/24). I'm going to switch to a new canister to see if it makes a difference. Just wondering if anyone has experienced the same... or whether it's me and not the Estrogel, in which case I probably need to think of upping the dosage (2 pumps so far). Would love to hear your feedback! Tx

Two pumps is only a low to medium dose. If your symptoms have return it would be reasonable to increase to three. Oestrogen is normally titrated according to symptoms. You can go up to four within licensed dosage of Estrogel.

Hey

I’ve had this occur to! Is it oestrogel you have been given or have they given you oestrodose as a replacement? I noticed a huge difference.

Also would you say it is a different consistency?
