Hello flowergirlphilly and welcome to the forum.

I see that you were asking the other ladies about their age at their last period.
I thought I would add that I was fifty four when I had what turned out to be my final period so I became officially post menopausal at fifty five.

You may see from this site that there are many and varied experiences of the meno and your situation is not so unusual.

I hope your Gynae appointment goes well and please keep us updated.

Wishing you well and take care.

I agree with the others  - get it checked out. Bleeding on HRT though is always less of a worry than true post-menopausal bleeding - which is bleeding when not on HRT - though if such bleeding like you have had is unusual for you, that is always a signal that it should be investigated, and especially at your age. It won't be a proper period (very very remote possibility at your age and stage)  but often bleeding will be triggered by some hormonal changes which you will be aware of in your body. So if you are on tablet HRT - maybe something in your digestive system affected how much has been absorbed? If you had a digestive upset? If you had polyps in the past maybe these have returned? Not sure how polyps would cause you to be aware of hormonal changes though!

Let us know the outcome and all the best!
