Provera rather than Utrogestan
« on: March 25, 2023, 04:01:43 PM »

Hello dear ladies
I wondered if anyone has had any issues with taking oral provera? I tolerate utrogestan very well but I had to take provera this time (due to no supply of utrogestan!)
I only took the first one last night but have felt a bit off all day - a bit lightheaded on and off, spacey and very sleepy. Can’t help feeling it’s the provera but maybe I’m not giving myself enough time for my system to get used to it?
Any thoughts/comments welcome  :)

Thanks Poppy. It is annoying when you feel pretty good on one regime and then they swap you on to something else. Hopefully things will settle. I’ll give it a week and then contact the GP. I may have to travel a bit to get the utrogestan. The medication shortages are awful 😞
