Floraljo, any lifting at all is going to help and especially If you even try to increase the weights you're lifting once a month to progress.  I was only lifting twice a week(full body workouts with barbell) for the first 2.5 years and saw improvements. Im more advanced now so wasn't able for full body so that's why doing more but twice a week with barbell exercises will be plenty for you for a few years
