Hello, I have just picked up my new HRT prescription and I am feeling a bit apprehensive.

I have been on Everol Sequi 50 patches for just over a year which have been working very well until the last few months where I have felt many of my symptoms increasing again.

My menopause nurse has suggested switching to 3 pumps of Oestrogel and 200mg of Utrogesten to be taken every night for 2 weeks of the month then just using the gel for the other 2 weeks.

I would be due to apply my Conti patch tomorrow so the nurse has said to start the new regime then.

I currently do not bleed on the patches and have not had a period for over 20 years due to being on the depo provera jab and now the mini pill. I am concerned I may start to bleed on this combination.

Has anyone had a experience of changing their HRT from the patches to the gel and tablets? I would be interested to hear how it went for you?
