I hope your Dr is going to let you use it daily. You may need to be firm about it. Many women need to use it daily.

MayB ring ahead and explain to the Nurse Practitioner that symptoms are improved with daily use which is recommended by many specialists.

Hi..

I have been inserting the pessary for two weeks on Tue...

I aim to go every other day from then...

Crossed fingers all is well.

How long should I keep it every other day...( Forever!!)

If every other day works for you then that's great, and it is forever! You will get used to the hassle because you don't want to get to the chronic stage of VA, its a thoroughly nasty condition.

My treatment is every day, I tried every other day and my symptoms came back with a vengeance.

Ok...

So blood pressure to high and as I'm on HRT ( patches) I am currently sat in doctors waiting for an ECG , bloods and urine test ..

I remember the doc putting me on patches because it doesn't effect blood pressure. Did I remember that wrong?

Anyway I'm here waiting...

I hope the tests all go well.

Like you, I thought  patches do not affect blood pressure.

White Coat syndrome.  Do not consider stopping your HRT, do ask for a referral to a menopause clinic, not a gynae ;-)

Morning.

The nurse said the ECG was normal although the doctor would look more closely at at the results.

Urine and bloods sent off..

She took my blood pressure which was 142/82

But she said because my readings that I did at home  ( which I told her I think the machine is faulty as it's a bit random at times)the doc will probably put me on blood pressure tablets..

I think 142/82 is ok

Any thoughts?

My thoughts are, if you start to have a dry tickly cough with your blood pressure meds, try another one because the cough won't go away.
Ramipril is the culprit, just a heads up when they put you on them, which I expect they will.

Your blood pressure is high, they like low numbers now, but not massively!
