Is there a bug going round
« on: February 11, 2023, 04:49:43 PM »

 ;D

I know, there'll always be a bug going around somewhere.  I'm down south.  Headache, nausea and general malaise the last few days.

Just thinking out loud.  I'd rather think I've got a bug than that I'm just a wreck.  Covid test negative.  Someone else local said they feel similar.

Anyone else?

You're a wreck  ;)

R U taking VitD capsules?  Might help lift the body out of it's malaise, 4 me it was like being glued to the sofa after 20 mins. work  >:(

Hello KaraShannon

I am also in the South of the country and there is definitely a bug doing the rounds here. Practically everyone I meet has a story of feeling generally low with headaches etc.
I had a horrible headache and sore throat yesterday with zero energy and I still feel rubbish today.

We are still emerging from Winter and cold and flu viruses continue to circulate.

I think the usual advice of rest and plenty of fluids applies plus painkillers if necessary.
Fortunately Spring will soon be here.

Take care and sending hugs.

K.

Sounds like what my daughter has. We are in the south. Seems to be lingering.

CLKD  ;D  I've got the Vit D supplements you'll be pleased to hear.  I will see if they help, everyone I know who takes them feels better so let's see

Kathleen and Ju Ju, this is like a migraine, a bit of nausea here and there, I do feel like it's a bug.  I get the odd migraine, but it's usually milder than most and shortlived. This has been since Thursday last week and mild stomach upset, very mild, but something and slight sore throat.

I'm a bit fed up with the migraine now, so hoping it's a bug going round as then I'll know it's on the way out soon.  I know I visited a relative and they were feeling similar.

North west here and I felt like death yesterday. Bad tummy, headache, nausea etc etc. I put mine down to lack of sleep and general stresses and strains of life!

My OH has had a sinus infection for weeks now, FOUR lots of antibiotics he’s had.
Yep, you’ve read that right, Four lots.
He’s just finished his last one today of the forth dose, if the pain doesn’t go, he’s to see an ENT specialist.
It is better, but still not gone completely.
I’m just wondering with having heard about different people having to have two, three and even four lots of ABs, to clear up infections, if it’s something to do with the vaccinations we’ve had, I’m thinking maybe, they’re not working like they used too. ….OR is it because of the lockdowns we’ve had, the bugs are more stronger due to our own immune response. 🤷🏼‍♀️
I don’t know, but I do know he’s had it rough the last couple months.

Hope he's feeling better Jillydoll

I have thoughts about all this as I now have cellulitis.  I'll come back to this.

Got headache, nausea, tiredness, not really bad, just lingering. I agree that since lockdown our immune systems are hopeless!
