My NHS Lothian menopause clinic agreed to increase my dose of Sandrena to 2mg (currently on 1.5) but only if I take 200mg (two capsules) every night.
I currently take 200mg utro 12 out of 28 nights and I’m not keen to take continuously because of side effects.
I was on four pumps of oestrogel - which I switched because of batch issues - and I thought four pumps equalled 2mg Sandrena.
What are other people taking? I paid to see a private gynaecologist and she said it’s not safe to take vaginally if on a high oestrogen dose and the GP will not authorise that either so that’s not an option.
