It's a shock to my system it been over 4 years since my last period and im quite worried, I have also had pain. Any advice would be great.

Hi AngelaC.
Glad you’ve found us.
Yes, it can happen and is sometimes expected, to have a bleed after starting HRT.
It should settle down as your body gets used to the hormones.
I’m sure someone will advise with more info than me, so hang tight.
Good luck. xx

Hi welcome to the forum .
Bleeding can occur in the first six months of starting hrt. It is quite common.
Can I ask how old you are ? And are you definitely post menopausal …. 12 months without a period and not in any other hormones like the mini pill ? xx

Hello...bleeding can happen for up to 6 months, but keep an eye on it. It could be that the Evorel Conti doesn't suit you and you may be better on a different hrt. It's a case of waiting and seeing . The advice is to give hrt 3 months to settle. x
