More advice.. too much Oestrogen
« on: December 18, 2022, 08:52:00 AM »

Hi again, another question
Recently posted of starting on 100mx patch at 58 (after being on gel and absorption problems ) Definitely noticed huge difference with patch 7/8 weeks on.
Feeling better but had problems with very tender breasts , as advised by forumees 😊 this is getting better! Thx
But.. now have very slight light spotting.. not sure if this is normal because of hit of hormones.
Been for around a week and not consistent but appears now and again .
Any wise advice
Thx

Morning.  HRT can cause interruptions in cycle, especially if your own hormones kick in too.  Light spotting may be 'normal' on your regime, what does it say in the leaflet in the box?

Are you meno and on a conti regime? Breakthrough bleeding can be expected in the first 6 months of a new conti regime. Is your smear test up to date?
